The GEAR Logo has been formulated with the vision to inspire our GEAR Cubs to be outstanding model students and citizens of our country.

The Chinese Character, pronounced 'tzai'/'chai' stands for talented child. This is placed in a Green rectangle which represents prosperity, nature and learning.

Our acronym GEAR is in yellow at the bottom of the rectangle which expands into Gifted Education And Research and the colour symbolises intelligence and talent.

Our motto “ To Dream. To Dare. To Do.“ encourages us to be free to dream and hope for great things. To make our dreams a reality we need to dare to be different and tread the path less taken and finally execute the plan by doing what we dared.

At the bottom of the Logo there is a Phrase “ Jai Gurudev “ which is also a greeting used by the Art of Living Foundation. The Phrase has a deeper meaning and after taking the blessings of Sri Sri Ravishankar the same greetings is incorporated into the Logo. It has been there ever since.

'Jai' means Victory. 'Guru' means the biggest, the greatest teacher . 'Dev' is the big mind, the higher self in you. Every one of us have both the ‘serious’ guru and the fun loving Dev in us. So ‘Jai Gurudev’ is to wish that both the parts in you, and the complete you, flourish
