Admission to Pre-school

Admission to Pre-school: GEM+ - GEAR Montessori Plus:

Montessori Environment is the entry point. There is no admission test. Seats are allotted on 'first come first served' basis. If there are seats available, parents may be asked to register the child's name for a Prospecting-Parents Interactive Meeting with the Principal.

We follow an enhanced Montessori Method of Education with ideas from the Reggio Approach and Multiple Intelligences incorporated. Admission to Montessori Environment needs to be finalized before the child is two years old and the child should start school before he/she is 2.5 years old.

The time of academic or Calendar year is not relevant for the child to start school; the child's AGE is.

They would be taken in batches of a few. If children are already scheduled to start in a particular month, more in-take will not be possible. Since there is no minimum age for admission, seeking admission at the earliest possible is advisable.

Lateral Admissions are very rare. We have only 20 seats per group and mostly all our seats remain filled. If there are seats available, and the child has a promising record of work from a Montessori Environment, parents may be given the option to register the child's name for a Prospecting-Parents Interactive Meeting with the Principal.

After this interaction, parents have a few days to set up a meeting with the Principal to discuss admission related issues specific to the child. If the child is offered a seat, admission formalities need to be completed within the given period. Upon admission a specific time is given for the child to start school.
