Admission to Hub Campus

Admissions at GEAR Hub are open throughout the year. As we aim to keep the classroom strength at an optimum level for one-on-one student-mentor interactions, new admissions are given based on the availability of seats.

Lateral admissions into the school are based on availability of a seat and the child’s academic records and performance. Transfer cases are given first preference in these situations.

The Hub campus is located at Sompura Gate (Affiliated to CBSE, Grade I-VII)

The Admission Procedure follows a few standard steps

1. Registration for Admission:

Parents can visit the GEAR Hub campus, or the Gurukul campus to register their child for admission.

Parents are advised to bring the following at the time of registration:

       a. Photos of the child and the parents + 1 spare set

       b. A copy of the child’s Birth Certificate (self attested by the parent)

       c. The registration fee: Rs 500/-

2. Interaction with the child:

Parents interested in an admission are given a personal appointment with the Chairman. The child must accompany the parents for this appointment along with some of the child’s work if it is for and admission above the entry level. The Date of Joining and campus once assigned cannot be altered after this interaction. For any change it will be treated as a fresh application.

3. Admission:

Once the interaction with the child is completed, parents are given 2-3 days to finalise their decision about the admission and to pay the school fees. To get a better understanding of GEAR Hub fees structure please click here. Once the fees has been paid and a GEAR Cub number assigned to the child, no refund is possible.

4. Parents’ Orientation:

On completion of the admission procedure a Parents Orientation is organised. During this meeting, parents get a chance to interact with Founder & Chairman of GEAR Foundation, Dr. M Srinivasan. He would give a comprehensive briefing about the school and its philosophies as well as answer questions put forth.
